K.L.College of Horticulture is situated in Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh state. K.L. College of Horticulture was established on 19 December 2002 under Kanhaiya Lal Shikshan Samitee, Dhamtari (Regi. No 1104) and admissions started from academic session 2002-03.

The college is situated in centre of Durg Gundardehi road potiyadih near the city and about 5km Bus and Railway station, and 4 km district hospital Dhamtari. The college has facilitated with greenery around K.L. College of Horticulture is affiliated to Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G.).Horiculture College, Dhamtari follows a holistic approach for the development of the Horiculture by integrating teaching, research and extension activities and assumes specific responsibility for improvement of rural life in totality.

The college is dedicated to educate and train the students in Horticulture in order to enable them to achieve perceptible value addition to their technical knowledge, skills and positive attitude towards life along with enhanced employability at the time of passing out form the colleges.
